CREEDMOOR — The Pendergraph Companies announced this week the opening of its newest property, Holly Creek Apartments, at 810 N. Main St. in Creedmoor.
This new development adds to the affordable housing landscape in Creedmoor.
Holly Creek is Pendergraph’s second complex in Creedmoor, following Driftwood Apartments off of Hillsboro Street.
“This is the beginning of a long-term relationship with a vibrant, growing town,” Pendergraph property analyst Carl Raab said. “Creedmoor is right on the edge of Raleigh and has been growing steadily along with other nearby communities for years. With every percentage point of growth comes a need for affordable housing, and Pendergraph hopes to meet this need in any way it can.”
Work on Holly Creek has been ongoing for the past several years. Holly Creek originally began in 2016, under Mayor Darryl Moss, and has gained prominence on the previously empty lot north of downtown.
Holly Creek is among the largest apartment complexes within a 15-minute walk of City Hall.
Holly Creek has apartments with one, two and three bedrooms and modern appliances including dishwashers, ceiling fans and outside storage. Each resident has access to the community room, a covered picnic area, a playground, and exercise and laundry rooms.
Holly Creek is financed through the federal tax credit program and has certain income restrictions. Residents are encouraged to stop by the leasing center between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to pick up an application.
The Pendergraph Companies are owned by Frankie Pendergraph, a North Carolina native who has worked in affordable housing for more than 25 years.
Pendergraph’s companies handle construction, development, and management for nearly 100 properties across North and South Carolina.
