The following incidents were reported by Butner Public Safety:

March 29

Communicating threats was reported in the 100 block of West C Street.

March 30

Larceny was reported at Dollar General, 304 Central Ave. Someone allegedly stole dish detergent.

April 1

A criminal summons was served on Darren Lumus-Ed Freeman, 46, for assault on a female. Freeman was issued a court date and ordered to appear in court.

April 2

A bomb threat was reported at the Food Lion Distribution Center, 1703 E. D St. The building was checked and nothing suspicious was found.

A breaking and entering and larceny was reported at Piedmont Park, 103 24th St. Someone allegedly entered a residence and stole various CDs, a DVR system, and a hand-drawn signed picture.

April 3

Kia Naomi Mosher Clayton, 43, of Creedmoor, was arrested for an outstanding order, issued a secured bond of $105 and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

An unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported at BFS Industries, 200 Industrial Drive. Someone’s vehicle was allegedly stolen by their girlfriend.

Larceny was reported at Dollar General, 1605 Highway 56. Someone allegedly stole cleaning supplies.
