The following incidents were reported by Butner Public Safety.

June 15

• Darren Lumus-Ed Freeman was arrested on an outstanding order for arrest, issued a $1,000 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

June 16

• Communicating threats was reported at Granville Oaks Apartments in the 2000 block of Watershed Way.

June 17

• Armonde Raheem Landis, 19, of Creedmoor, was arrested during a traffic stop for an outstanding warrant for discharging a firearm in the city and going armed to terror the people. Landis was issued a $1,000 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

• Larceny was reported at Food Lion, 2531 E. Lyon Station Road, Suite J. Two people allegedly entered the store and stole $241 worth of groceries. As a result of the incident, warrants were obtained on Allen Ray Ferrell II, 29, of Oxford and Ashley Jordan Kirkman, 23, of Oxford. Both were charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• An assault was reported at 1534 Olive Circle. As a result of the incident, James Dexter Hewett, 48, of Creedmoor, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and resist, delay and obstruct. Hewett was issued a $200,000 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

• A larceny was reported at Speedway, 1545 Highway 56. Someone wearing a blue hat, blue shirt and blue jeans allegedly stole lottery tickets.

• A larceny was reported at Speedway, 1545 Highway 56. Someone wearing a black dress allegedly stole a cell phone.

• A larceny was reported at Dollar General, 304 Central Ave. Two people allegedly stole clothes and DVDs.

June 19

• A larceny was reported at Speedway, 1545 Highway 56. As a result of the incident, citations were issued to Donald Douglas Chalk, 50, of Youngsville, and Cindy Renee Ellington, 44, of Stem. The two were charged with misdemeanor larceny.

• Maria Del Carmen Sanchez Garcia, 40, of Butner, was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with resist, delay and obstruct, and no operators license. Garcia was issued a $500 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

• Property damage was reported in the 1200 block of East E Street. As a result of the incident, Mark Alex Bridges, 22, of Butner, was arrested and charged with damage to personal property and resist, delay and obstruct. Bridges was issued a $1,500 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

• A hit-and-run was reported on Highway 56. As a result of the incident, Shaquita Ruffin, 29, of Louisburg, was charged with hit-and-run and failure to reduce speed.

• A larceny was reported at 1532 Olive Circle. Someone allegedly stole medication.

• Robert Brandon Peace, 47, of Creedmoor, was issued an outstanding warrant for domestic criminal trespass. Peace was issued a $500 unsecured bond and released.

• Sara Lynn Peace, 48, of Creedmoor, was arrested and charged with violation of a domestic violence protection order. Peace was issued no bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.
