Dec. 13

• An armed robbery was reported at Family Fare, 110 Central Ave. The suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

Dec. 14

• Property damage was reported at Butner Presbyterian Church, 310 16th St. Someone allegedly drove their vehicle on the property causing damage to the lawn.

• Property damage was reported at Murdoch Center, 1600 E. C St. Someone allegedly drove their vehicle on the property causing damage to the lawn.

DeC. 16

• Mario Alexi Rodriguez-Palma, 24, of Butner, was arrested and charged with fleeing to elude arrest, careless and reckless driving, speeding and DWI. An officer attempted to stop Rodriguez-Palma for speeding and he allegedly failed to stop. Rodriguez-Palma was found hiding in a closet and taken into custody without incident. Rodriguez-Palma was issued a $2,000 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

Dec. 17

• Omar Bryant, 28, of Henderson, was arrested during a traffic stop for an outstanding warrant for arrest for assault by pointing a gun. Bryant was issued a $1,500 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

• Jerome Scott Johnson, 41, of Creedmoor, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny. Johnson was issued a $10,000 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center. Johnson was charged with being in violation of a domestic violence protection order and was issued no bond for the charge.

• Matthew Grey Johnson, 36, of Raleigh, and Brian Scott Haase, 37, of Raleigh, were arrested during a traffic stop. Johnson was charged with possession of heroin, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was issued a $27,000 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

Dec. 18

• Property damage was reported at Edgewood Bridge Apartments in the 700 block of West B Street. Someone allegedly damaged the windshield on a vehicle.
