The following incidents were reported by Butner Public Safety.

May 23

• Hit-and-run was reported at Fed Ex, 646 Roycroft Road. As a result of the investigation, Ephrem Michael, 33, of Cary, was charged on citation with hit-and-run.

May 24

• Larceny was reported at Dollar General, 1605 Highway 56. Two men and a woman allegedly entered the business and stole Dove body wash.

May 26

• Dexter Ryan Hart, 31, of Creedmoor, was arrested during a license checkpoint and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Hart was issued a $100,000 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

• Property damage was reported at Twin Circles Mobile Home Park. Someone allegedly cut a tire on someone’s vehicle.

• Tammy Louise Updegraff, 51, of Bahama, was arrested during a traffic stop for an outstanding warrant for attempted larceny. Updegraff was issued a $1,000 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

May 28

• Embezzlement was reported at Food Lion Distribution Center, 1703 E. D St. An employee allegedly made personal purchases with a company credit card.

• An assault was reported at Espresso Laundry, 206 Central Ave. As a result of the incident, Alicia Hernandez, 31, of Creedmoor, was arrested and charged with assault and Elid Garcia Lucas, 33, of Creedmoor, was arrested and charged with assault on a female. Hernandez and Lucas were both issued no bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.

May 29

• Larceny was reported at Dollar General, 304 Central Ave. Two men allegedly stole Gain washing detergent.

• Property damage was reported at Colonial Mobile Home Park. Someone allegedly damaged a vehicle.

• Martel Randy Cash, 25, of Charlotte, was arrested during a traffic checkpoint for an outstanding order for arrest from Alamance County for speeding and driving with a revoked license. Cash also had an outstanding order for arrest from Iredell County for driving with a revoked license and possession of a controlled substance. Cash was issued a citation for driving while license revoked and possession of marijuana. Cash was issued a $1,350 secured bond and placed in the Granville County Detention Center.
