CREEDMOOR — The city of Creedmoor is seeking applications from residents who live inside city limits and are interested in serving on its Board of Adjustment. There is currently a vacancy on the seat.
The Board of Adjustment meets quarterly (February, May, August, November) on the first Monday at 7 p.m. and requires various degrees of preparation, depending on the complexity of the particular issues under consideration.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a registered voter, and willing to serve a term to expire January 2021 or until a successor is appointed. Board membership is limited to persons not previously convicted of a felony offense in North Carolina or any of the United States or its territories.
