OXFORD The 2019 municipal filing period ends today at noon. All potential candidates must complete their paperwork at the Granville County Board of Elections at 208 Wall St. before the deadline.

As of noon Wednesday, the November ballot will have the following candidates:

BUTNER

• Terry Turner (incumbent) filed on July 5 for mayor.

• William “Bill” McKellar (incumbent) filed on Wednesday for town council.

CREEDMOOR

• Bobby Wheeler (incumbent) filed on July 9 for mayor.

• Amor Agdeppa filed on Monday for mayor.

• Ernie Anderson (incumbent) filed on July 5 for commissioner.

• Kechia Brustmeyer-Brown filed on July 8 for commissioner.

• Robert Way filed on Tuesday for commissioner.

STEM

• Casey Dover (incumbent) filed on July 12 for mayor.

• David Pavlus filed on July 12 for commissioner (four-year term). Appointed in 2018 (unexpired term ending in 2021 but now running for four-year term seat).

• Lonnie Cole Sr. filed on July 12 for commissioner (unexpired two-year term).

• Kenneth McLamb filed on Monday for commissioner (four-year term). He was appointed in 2018 (unexpired term ending in 2019).
• Kevin Easter filed on Tuesday for commissioner (unexpired two-year term). Incumbent for four-year term ending in 2019.

OXFORD

• Jackie Sergent (incumbent) filed on July 12 for mayor.

• Larry Thomas filed for mayor on July 11.

• Ron Bullock (incumbent) filed on July 8 for commissioner.

• John Tovey filed on July 5 for commissioner.

• Justin Paynter filed on July 9 for commissioner.

• Teresa Gilreath filed on Monday for commissioner.

• Michael M. Hunt Sr. filed on Monday for commissioner.

• Kenneth Moss filed on Wednesday for commissioner.

STOVALL

• Mike Williford (incumbent) filed on July 8 for commissioner.

• Dale Hughes filed on July 5 for commissioner.
