The Lord Granville Agricultural Heritage Association is currently taking orders for their 2019 Annual Stew Sale.

Every year during the last weekend in October the LGAHA cooks and prepares from scratch a seasonal favorite in the Carolinas — Southern Brunswick stew.

Proceeds from this year’s stew will go toward the organization’s scholarship program for Granville County high school students from South Granville, Granville Central and J.F Webb high schools.

The club has awarded over $38,250 since the program began.

Place an order before Oct. 15 by calling Vernon Morton at 919-575-4197, Al Gulvin at 919-528-1652, Mike Turner at 919-270-8887, or Jim Adams at 919-575-6043.

If there are any quarts leftover from the pre-sale, they will be available on Friday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. The price this year is $8 per quart.
