OXFORD — A last second steal and layup by Granville Central stole a 62-59 win over conference rival Webb on Jan. 3.
The Panthers moved to 10-3 on the season and remain unbeaten in conference play at 3-0. Webb drops to 6-5 overall and 1-1 in conference action.
The Panthers came out with a barrage of three pointers by Jamari Mann and Terence Harcum. JJ Tilley added to the totals with a couple of jumpers inside the arc to give Granville Central an 18-4 lead midway through the first quarter.
