RALEIGH — Despite the windy and rainy conditions, South Granville students made the best of the situation during the school’s Paris-themed prom May 4 at the Shrine Club in Raleigh.
A light blue hue radiated from the Eiffel Tower replica setup, casting a glow over the seating areas and the dance floor.
Many students milled around and talked, while others hit the dance floor for a little fun.
From “Old Town Road” to “Copperhead Road,” promgoers danced to several hit songs until it was time to name the prom queen and king.
Mackenzie Chamberlain and Josh Edwards took home prom queen and king honors, respectively, and received their crowns from South Granville principal Lisa Tusa.
