STEM — Tally Ho First Baptist Church held its third annual back-to-school luncheon for the faculty and staff of Granville Central High School.
The church collected school supplies, mostly copy paper, and presented them to the school staff. A catered meal was provided. The staff also played a version of, “America Says.” Each table competed against their neighboring table for prizes. Win or lose every person received a prize.
“Our church enjoys providing this meal and time of encouragement each year,” said Rev. Eddie Nutt, pastor at Tally Ho. “It is an excellent opportunity to remind the staff that they have someone that loves them and is praying for them. Our prayer is that they have a safe and blessed year as they teach our next generation. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”
